Signed! SANY Wins Order for 80 Electric Container Trucks from Saudi Arabia

On June 25, Saudi Global Ports (SGP), a joint venture of PSA International Holdings (PSA), and SANY Offshore held a signing ceremony for 80 electric container trucks. The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) said that this is the world's largest single order for electric container trucks.

Mr Rayan AlBakri, Deputy Minister of Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Transport, Edward Tah, CEO of SGP, Fu Weizhong, Chairman of SANY Offshore Engineering, and Tang Weibin, General Manager of Overseas Marketing Company, attended the signing ceremony.

SGP is a joint venture between PSA, PIF, and Al blagha Group. This cooperation will help accelerate the low-carbon development and modern operation of PSA's ports, helping them become efficient, flexible and sustainable logistics centers. In the long run, SANY Offshore's electric container trucks' contribution to climate change is also consistent with Saudi Arabia's "Vision 2030" sustainable development goals.

It is understood that since 2013, SGP has cooperated with Sany Offshore Engineering for 12 years and has currently delivered about 50 mobile port equipment and 6 RTGs.
