From July 6 to 8, local time, Jiang Difei, Vice Governor of Hunan Province, led a Hunan Economic and Trade Delegation to visit Iceland to promote exchanges and cooperation between Hunan and Iceland in the fields of intelligent construction, infrastructure construction, equipment manufacturing, etc., and explore new opportunities for building industrialization to go out of Hunan and go to the world. Tang Xiuguo, rotating chairman and president of SANY Group, accompanied the delegation as a member of the delegation.
Under the leadership of the provincial party committee and government, SANY Group will unswervingly promote the "globalization, digitalization, and low-carbonization" strategy, and promote the mature system solutions integrating engineering construction equipment, building industrialization, industrial Internet and artificial intelligence in Iceland, so as to contribute SANY's strength to the transformation and upgrading of Iceland's construction industry, the overseas expansion of Chinese enterprises, and the creation of national brands.
On July 6, after Jiang Difei led the delegation to Iceland, the first stop was to visit and exchange ideas with the SANY Iceland agency base, where he expressed high recognition for SANY's achievements in expanding its business in Iceland.
Afterwards, the delegation held discussions with the Icelandic Chinese Chamber of Commerce and representatives of local construction companies to learn about Iceland's development and potential cooperation opportunities in the fields of green and low-carbon buildings, new energy development and utilization, and the local engineering contracting market. The Chamber of Commerce said it would pay attention to and support SANY's subsequent business in Iceland.
On July 7, Tang Xiuguo and the SANY Europe team reported to the vice governor and his delegation on SANY's development of new quality productivity, the European market, and smart construction ideas and measures. Jiang Difei said that SANY's European business is developing very well; the scale of Hunan's prefabricated building industry has exceeded 100 billion yuan, and it is necessary to vigorously promote the development of building industrialization and achieve industrial doubling.
On July 8, Tang Xiuguo accompanied the delegation to visit Mr. He Rulong, Chinese Ambassador to Iceland, and held discussions on the friendly cooperation between Hunan Province and the Group and Iceland.
He then visited Mr. Palmi Pop Masson, Deputy Mayor of Kópavogur City Government in Iceland, and the two sides discussed cooperation opportunities in areas such as smart construction, environmental protection high-tech, new energy development and utilization, and infrastructure construction driven by the hotel industry.
