The First Batch of 7 Standards for Electric Machinery were Released at XCMG

In order to implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, further comprehensively deepen reform, lead the optimization and upgrading of traditional industries with the improvement of national standards, and maintain the security and stability of the industrial chain and supply chain, on August 5, an on-site promotion meeting for the exchange of experience in standardization and stable supply chain of electric construction machinery was held at XCMG. The first batch of 7 national standards for electric construction machinery were released on site, and in-depth exchanges were held on technological innovation and standard development experience in the construction machinery industry. The XCMG electric construction machinery industry chain equipment and electric loader production line were observed on site.
Tian Shihong, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the State Administration for Market Regulation and Director of the National Standardization Administration, Chen Zhongwei, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province, and Hao Lishun, Deputy Director of the Equipment Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Si Yong, Deputy Secretary-General of the Jiangsu Provincial Government, Shen Haibin, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau, and Wang Jianfeng, Mayor of Xuzhou, attended the event. Yang Dongsheng, Chairman and Party Secretary of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery, Sun Lei, General Manager of XCMG Group, and Shan Zenghai, Chief Engineer and Vice President of XCMG Machinery, were invited to attend the event, and XCMG shared its experience on behalf of the industry.
XCMG participated in 7 national standards
In order to implement the State Council’s work deployment of “promoting equipment renewal and consumer goods replacement on a large scale”, the State Administration for Market Regulation organized standard chain stabilization actions in ten fields.
The National Standards Administration organized the formulation of the first batch of 7 national standards for electric construction machinery, including "Earth-moving Machinery - Pure Electric Hydraulic Excavator for Plateau Tunnels", covering multiple aspects such as the whole machine, energy consumption test, and power batteries, filling the gap in the national standard system, which will accelerate the marketization process of electric construction machinery and support the industry to achieve green transformation and upgrading.
It is worth mentioning that XCMG seized the opportunity, innovated and developed, took the lead in drafting the national standard "Earth-moving Machinery - Pure Electric Hydraulic Excavators for Plateau Tunnels", and participated in the formulation of all 7 national standards for electric construction machinery released this time.
The release of these standards will help standardize the technical requirements urgently needed for industrial transformation and development, unify upstream and downstream technical specifications, and clear the breakpoints and bottlenecks in the development of the industrial chain. At the same time, it will also provide a unified technical basis and testing specifications for the selection and testing of equipment, accelerate the marketization process of electric construction machinery, and provide technical support for the green transformation and upgrading of the construction machinery industry.

Yang Dongsheng said that the release of the national standard for electric construction machinery has accelerated the strengthening, supplementing and extending of the electric construction machinery chain. We will take the release of this electric construction machinery standard as a starting point, and continue to deeply implement the electric construction machinery standard chain stabilization action, strengthen the chain with standard innovation, supplement the chain with intelligent transformation, digital transformation and networking, and extend the chain with business model innovation, promote the coordinated development of "standards-technology-industry", strive to create new quality productivity, promote new industrialization, and make new and greater contributions to the high-quality development of the construction machinery industry!
Leaders in charge of relevant departments and bureaus of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology attended the meeting, as did leaders in charge of relevant units in the industry chain, such as the China Construction Machinery Industry Association, electric construction machinery manufacturers, and parts manufacturers.
