For a long time, bucket cranes have been the main equipment for bulk material handling in ports. With the rapid development of bulk material logistics at ports, ship owners and port owners have increased their requirements for faster transfer speeds at ports, higher efficiency requirements for port loading and unloading equipment, and increasingly stringent environmental protection requirements, forcing equipment manufacturers to develop and produce in a more efficient, environmentally friendly and energy-saving direction.

In this context, the 160t-class grabber developed by Sany Offshore Engineering came into being, and three of them were delivered to a large overseas coal port. The product model is SMHC160, and the actual weight of the whole machine reaches 175t.

Dual engine drive, loading and unloading operations can still be carried out even if one side fails;

Four sets of main pumps, hydraulic system displacement 1500L/min;

Slewing torque 480KN.m, three-row roller slewing bearing, 2 times safety factor;

Reinforced crawler and supporting wheels, can carry 260t weight;

Precision castings and forgings are used at the hinge points, and the structural fatigue life is increased by 50%;

Dynamic anti-rollover protection of the whole machine, automatic ring fire extinguishing system in the cabin.

 

Easy to move, wide range

6-meter-gauge gantry crawler chassis, can be passed by trains and dump trucks;

Travel speed 2.8Km/h, easy to transfer;

360° on-the-spot turning, 40% extreme climbing, strong adaptability;

Can be configured with 26-meter or 35-meter boom combination;

Maximum operating range 36m, height 38m, depth 16m;

Shore operations meet the requirements of 70,000-ton ship types.

 

Fast rotation, high efficiency

90° rotation operation cycle time is as low as 30s;

24m amplitude load capacity is greater than 13t;

Average operating efficiency is 800t/h, which is twice that of MQ4035 portal seat.

 

More energy-saving and cost-saving

Direct connection between engine and main pump reduces transmission loss by 12%;

Energy recovery system, energy saving efficiency is 15%;

Electronic control positive flow system, energy consumption is reduced by 5%;

Depending on different working conditions, the operating energy consumption is only 60~80L/h, which is 45% of MQ4035 portal seat.
