On May 11, the first stop of the three-day "China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo Entering Africa" concluded successfully in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. With the theme of "China and Africa join hands to create a better future", this event provides China and Africa with "face-to-face" communication and dialogue opportunities and stimulates new opportunities for China-Africa economic and trade cooperation. There are 230 exhibitors.
This is the fourth consecutive time that SANY has participated in the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo. This year, SANY Group brought four star products, SY335C excavator, STC500C5 crane, SW936K loader, and SSR200C-8H roller, to the stage, presenting an eye-catching construction machinery exhibition.
Many guests, including provincial government delegation leaders represented by Hunan Province Vice Governor Cao Zhiqiang, Chinese Ambassador to Kenya Zhou Pingjian, and Kenyan Ambassador to China Ambassador Willie Bate, visited the SANY booth.
During the exhibition, SANY Group received a total of 88 batches of customers and contributed to a turnover of approximately 20 million yuan, fully demonstrating its extensive industry influence and product appeal. At the same time, representatives from many banks came and proposed to provide equipment financing preferential solutions to the group's end customers. In addition, some customers have expressed their intention to seek cooperation with regional agents.
SANY has a deep connection with Africa. In 2002, SANY graders were exported to Morocco. This was the first product exported by SANY and made SANY one of the first engineering machinery companies to enter the African market. After entering the African market, SANY equipment has spread to more than 50 countries and regions in Africa and participated in the construction of almost all major African projects.
Currently, SANY Group regards Africa as an important market in its globalization strategy. Currently, SANY has 15 subsidiaries in Africa with more than 200 employees. Its cumulative sales over the years will exceed the 20 billion mark this year, and sales in 2024 are expected to exceed 4 billion yuan.
