On the afternoon of September 9, President Rajoelina of the Republic of Madagascar, who came to China to attend the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, and his delegation visited the Earthmoving Machinery Park of Zoomlion Smart Industrial City to learn about the company's intelligent manufacturing, construction machinery, and agricultural machinery product research and development. Rajoelina and his delegation first came to the large excavator assembly workshop of the Earthmoving Machinery Park Intelligent Factory, where they saw various industrial robots operating in an orderly manner and material distribution robots shuttling autonomously on both sides of the passage, and personally experienced the sci-fi beauty of the world's leading intelligent factory; in the excavator demonstration area, they watched the excavator stacking wine glasses and threading needles, and Rajoelina and his delegation applauded the wonderful performances of the operators, and praised the excellent micro-motion performance of Zoomlion's excavators; in the agricultural machinery display area, Rajoelina showed great interest in Zoomlion's full range of products covering "ploughing, planting, harvesting, and storage", and asked in detail about the performance of the products such as horsepower, and praised high-end intelligent products such as high-horsepower tractors, rice seedling throwers, and rice transplanters.

It is understood that Madagascar is located in the western Indian Ocean, across the Mozambique Channel from the African continent. It is the largest island in Africa and the fourth largest in the world. The country's economy is mainly based on agriculture, with the agricultural population accounting for more than 80% of the total population, and 70% of export revenue coming from agriculture. At present, Madagascar is working hard to improve the level of agricultural modernization and industrialization and build an "African granary". The pragmatic cooperation between China and Madagascar has achieved fruitful results. The hybrid rice project is the golden signboard of the cooperation between the two sides. The planting area and output have ranked first in Africa, forming a full industrial chain of "breeding, planting, and processing".
