Yuchai's Low-Carbon Intelligent Power System Debuts at the East China Expo

On September 24, 2024, the 21st China-ASEAN Expo was grandly opened in Nanning, Guangxi. Ding Xuexiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Yuchai exhibited its innovative achievements, including the world's first hybrid electric drive continuously variable powertrain and China's largest displacement and most powerful hydrogen-fired engine, and was reviewed by national leaders.
The theme of this expo is "Developing with sincerity, mutual benefit and tolerance, creating the future with diamonds - promoting the construction of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area 3.0 and high-quality regional growth", which showcases the latest achievements of cooperation between China and ASEAN countries.
As a leading enterprise in China's power industry, Yuchai's many cutting-edge products were unveiled at the "New Era Magnificent Guangxi" exhibition and advanced technology exhibition of this expo, showing the company's innovative achievements and technical strength in the field of low-carbon intelligent power.
Among them, the world's first hybrid electric drive continuously variable powertrain (IE-POWER) developed by Yuchai became the focus of the booth. The heavy-duty tractors equipped with Yuchai IE-POWER have a 35% higher plowing or rotary tillage efficiency than traditional tractors, and can save up to 30% fuel. At the same time, they have the characteristics of low operating noise, high driving and operation comfort, and can also help tractors easily realize unmanned driving, bringing my country's large-scale agricultural equipment into the new energy track for the first time.
In addition, Yuchai also displayed its technological achievements in the field of new energy and low carbon, including China's first commercial vehicle hydrogen-fired engine K05H, the country's largest displacement and most powerful hydrogen-fired engine K15H, China's first flexible fuel engine platform to achieve commercial operation, and the country's leading fuel cell system in durability and safety, as well as the more economical and efficient YC6TD series gas generator sets, 50KW silent generator sets, the Yuchai YCF11 diesel engine with better power, torque and fuel consumption than international brand competitors, and the leading marine engine YCD4A33C6 in terms of liter power, and other advanced power equipment.
The 21st CAEXPO has a total exhibition area of nearly 200,000 square meters, with more than 2,000 companies participating. The SCO Secretariat and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization participated in the exhibition for the first time, and companies and institutions from Japan, South Korea and other countries continued to participate.
