From October 8 to 11, Man Shengang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Shandong Heavy Industry Group, visited Singapore to investigate the Shandong Heavy Industry (Singapore) Operation Center, coordinate business development in the Southeast Asian market, visit strategic partners and major customer representatives, and attend the Zhongtong New Energy Bus Delivery Ceremony and the global launch of the N12D double-decker electric bus.
On October 8, Man Shengang came to Shandong Heavy Industry (Singapore) Operation Center, toured the product exhibition center, visited front-line employees, and presided over a special dispatch meeting on the Southeast Asian market. He listened to reports on the business development in the Southeast Asian market from Weichai Group, Sinotruk, Shaanxi Heavy Duty Truck, Shantui, Zhongtong, Weichai Lovol Smart Agriculture, Lovol Heavy Industry, Fast and other affiliated companies.
Man Shengang pointed out that Southeast Asia is a key area for high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road" and a new growth pole for the global economy. It plays a pivotal role in Shandong Heavy Industry's internationalization strategy. On October 11, the "Zhongtong New Energy Bus Delivery Ceremony and the Global Launch of the N12D Double-Decker Electric Bus" was held in Singapore. As the result of Zhongtong Bus's technological innovation in recent years, the Zhongtong N12D double-decker electric bus has redefined the new benchmark for China's new energy buses with its unique design, advanced performance and excellent quality. Kang Yiming, Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Singapore, Fu Xiaohui, General Representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Singapore and Secretary-General of the Chinese Enterprises Association (Singapore), and Benjamin, President of Singapore's Jardine Matheson Group, attended the event.
