Sany TAI5 Electric Dump Trucks Delivered in Bulk to Chuangyu Industry, Advancing
June 18,2026
Recently, Sany Group delivered a batch of new energy engineering equipment, assisting customers in upgrading the operation quality of their own mines across the entire domain. A total of 10 new energy heavy trucks, 16 new energy dump trucks, 2 new energy wheel loaders, and 4 large excavators were delivered, fully connecting the entire operation chain of mining, including excavation, loading, transportation, and crushing. Among them, 16 units of the 2026 model TAI5 pure electric dump trucks—the industry's first forward-developed mine dump truck—became the main force of this delivery.
The two parties signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the end of May, and this "family portrait" complete equipment delivery is an important milestone in their cooperation. Subsequently, both parties will work together to create an integrated "vehicle, pile, network" solution, deepening the application scenarios of new energy equipment.
The TAI5-428 is designed for heavy-duty sand and gravel scenarios, equipped with a 400 to 600kWh battery, supporting dual-gun 600A fast charging. The chassis features a front 10t rear 28t axle, combined with a five-beam super-strong cargo box, covering box lengths from 6.8 to 8.0 meters, with a bottom 10 side 7 NM450 high-strength steel material. It comes standard with keyless start, reverse camera, and an 8-inch central control screen, with optional 360-degree surround view.
The TAI5-430 is built for high-intensity mining conditions, equipped with a 3.0 low-voltage domain control architecture, reducing the wiring from 108 to 48, and reducing the failure rate by 50%; the maximum speed on a 5% slope under full load is 25km/h, with a 50% increase in climbing speed. The cargo box is up to 9.0 meters long, and the bearing system is also a front 10t rear 28t axle. It comes standard with safety features such as hill descent control 2.0, bucket restriction, and AEB; optional cold zone configurations such as battery insulation cotton and cold-proof packages are available. Both models come standard with a vehicle management system and five levels of energy recovery.
"For extreme conditions, choose Tai·TAI." From the mass market announcement at the Zhangjiajie press conference to this batch delivery at the customer's site, it relies on Sany's years of technical accumulation and manufacturing confidence in mining scenarios. The 16 TAI5 models delivered this time are the industry's first models specifically forward-developed for mining scenarios, with everything from axles, frames, cargo boxes to the three-electric systems tailored for extreme conditions, completely bidding farewell to the industry's traditional "oil-to-electric" assembly model.
In the future, Sany will continue to delve into the field of new energy in mining, with a full range of high-quality equipment and integrated solutions to help customers reduce costs and increase efficiency, green transformation, and jointly build a new green development ecosystem for the industry.
