LiuGong Group Supports High-Quality Food Industry Development with Visit to Zhej

On June 16th, LiuGong Group's Party Committee Secretary and Chairman Zheng Jin led a delegation to visit and exchange at Zhejiang University's Yangtze River Delta Smart Oasis Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as Smart Oasis). Zhejiang University's Qiushi Distinguished Professor, Deputy Director of Smart Oasis, and Deputy Dean of the College of Biosystems Engineering and Food Science, Liu Donghong, and others accompanied and received the guests.
Zheng Jin and his team gained a detailed understanding of the progress of key projects in the Smart Oasis Future Laboratory, as well as the development of food research technologies and industrialization in areas such as fungal protein and cell-cultured meat, and engaged in in-depth discussions on joint research and development of meat products and beverages.
It is reported that Smart Oasis is a high-level innovation platform jointly built by Jiaxing City and Jiashan County governments in Zhejiang Province, in collaboration with Zhejiang University. Focusing on three innovative directions of "green+", "ecology+", and "intelligence+", it has established eight future laboratories, including Future Food and Future Health. Among them, the Future Food Laboratory, guided by a "big food concept", focuses on cutting-edge directions such as flexible intelligent manufacturing of food and biological synthesis, promoting the deep integration of scientific research results with the needs of the food industry and enterprises.
In 2023, Guangxi LiuGong Group Food Investment Company and Smart Oasis jointly established a Joint Food Innovation Center. Since their cooperation, they have successively carried out the research and development of specialty products such as pure meat sausages, low-temperature beef, and Guiwei Lianlu liquor, with the sausage product receiving a national invention patent certificate in 2025.
Looking ahead, both parties will continue to deepen their cooperation to develop more green and healthy high-quality food products with distinctive Guangxi regional characteristics, using innovative momentum to promote high-quality development in the food industry.
