National Case Study! Sany Selected for Indonesia Excavator Smart Factory

Recently, the Industry Application Working Committee of the National Intelligent Manufacturing Expert Committee released the "Overseas Smart Factory Case Collection (2026)", and Sany's Indonesian excavator smart factory was successfully selected for its outstanding intelligent manufacturing practices.
This case collection systematically analyzes the typical practices of 13 overseas smart factories in terms of manufacturing capability promotion, scenario landing exploration, and local compliance operations, aiming to share the construction achievements of Chinese smart factories overseas with global manufacturing enterprises and provide a reference and practical guide for the digital and intelligent transformation of manufacturing enterprises.
As the first overseas intelligent manufacturing base in China's construction machinery industry that is fully planned and constructed according to the Industry 4.0 standards, Sany's Indonesian excavator smart factory covers an area of about 100,000 square meters and has an annual production capacity of 6,000 excavators ranging from 3 tons to 55 tons. It not only meets the domestic market demand in Indonesia but also exports to the UK, the US, and other global mainstream markets, becoming a key strategic fulcrum for Sany to promote high-end manufacturing capabilities, supply chain systems, and systematic brand value going global.
