CRCHI's Real-time Scanning Spray Technology Enhances Concrete Spraying Efficien

June 27,2026

Recently, CRCHI's concrete wet spraying machine equipped with a real-time scanning and spraying guidance system successfully completed on-site field verification on the Qian-Gui Railway project. The equipment integrates practical functions such as whole machine positioning, full-section real-time scanning, real-time monitoring of sprayed layer thickness, intelligent display of over-spray and under-spray, and spraying guidance, aiding in the new development of tunnel wet spraying construction.

This system deeply integrates real-time scanning with spraying guidance, overcoming the industry's pain point where traditional sprayed concrete operations relied solely on manual experience and visual estimation to control the thickness and flatness of the work, lacking digital precision control methods.

The real-time scanning and spraying guidance module uses real-time scanning units as the perception core, supported by a vehicle control host, vehicle display screen, and remote control screen, forming a multi-end intelligent control interaction system. This system can adapt to harsh construction environments inside tunnels, such as dust and water mist, and can simultaneously scan tunnel sections and dynamically monitor the thickness of sprayed concrete in real-time, accurately guiding operators to carry out concrete spraying operations, and comprehensively improving the quality of spraying operations through digital control.

Multi-mode cloud diagram guidance to prevent over-spray, improve quality, and reduce consumption

The system supports various guidance options such as design mode and base thickness mode, adapting to different scene requirements with or without arch supports and self-matching thickness. On the human-machine interaction level, real-time scanning and calculated data such as standard, over-spray, and under-spray are intuitively presented on the vehicle screen and remote control screen in the form of colored cloud diagrams. Operators can rely on the cloud diagram's hidden identifiers to guide construction as needed, preventing over-spray, which can accurately control the thickness of the spray, reduce concrete consumption, and effectively improve the overall flatness of the sprayed surface, highlighting the effectiveness of the operation.

Full-section intelligent calculation, automatic flatness analysis

In addition to the spraying guidance function, the system has a built-in flatness analysis function that can quickly compare design contours and accurately calculate the flatness data of the full-section tunnel contour. The relevant data can be directly used for construction quality assessment and synchronized storage of digital engineering archives.

Flatness Analysis

CRCHI's intelligent spraying technology has been effectively implemented, solving construction challenges with digital precision control, enhancing the quality and efficiency of tunnel construction, and achieving energy saving and consumption reduction, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of global infrastructure projects.
