On July 9, 2026, the press conference for the 18th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as BICES 2027) was held in Beijing. At the meeting, Zhou Weidong, President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Machinery Industry Branch (hereinafter referred to as CCPIT Machinery Industry Branch), made a keynote speech titled "Join Hands to Build an International Exchange Platform, Help Construction Machinery Enterprises Expand Domestic and International Markets".

Good morning, everyone!
As summer begins a new journey and gathers strength to start a brilliant chapter, we meet again in Beijing today to jointly welcome the launch of the 18th China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as BICES 2027)! As one of the organizers of the BICES exhibition, on behalf of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Machinery Industry Branch, I would like to extend my warmest welcome and sincere thanks to all the guests, partners, and friends from all walks of life who have long cared for and supported the development of China's construction machinery industry at this press conference!
Since its inception in 1989, the BICES exhibition has gone through more than thirty years of glorious history. As an international event with significant influence in China's construction machinery industry, it is not only a witness to the technological progress of China's equipment manufacturing industry but also a promoter of exchanges and cooperation in the global construction machinery industry chain. This edition of the exhibition will be themed "Green Intelligence Leads, Sharing Excellence", gathering over a thousand exhibitors and industry organizations from around the world to showcase the green, digital, and international innovation achievements of construction machinery. At the critical historical period when the "15th Five-Year Plan" sets sail, the holding of BICES 2027 is timely and far-reaching in significance.
For nearly forty years since its establishment, the CCPIT Machinery Industry Branch has always adhered to the purpose of "serving economic construction and enterprise development", and has been committed to building a high-level international exchange and cooperation platform to promote the development of China's machinery industry. To this end, we will do the following during the preparation and the exhibition period of BICES 2027.
Continue to do a good job in the exhibition recruitment, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises. Small and medium-sized enterprises are an important foundation for the development of the manufacturing industry and are also the focus of our services. Over the years, under our leadership, we have organized enterprises to participate in international professional exhibitions and develop domestic and international markets, playing an active role in the international development of China's machinery industry. For BICES 2027, we will continue to leverage our exhibition organization advantages, strengthen publicity and recruitment efforts for small and medium-sized enterprises, and allow more small and medium-sized enterprises to gain more through the BICES platform.
Continue to hold the "Construction Machinery Electrification and Green Development Thematic Conference". During the BICES 2025 exhibition, with the support of the China Construction Machinery Industry Association and China National Machinery & Equipment Import & Construction Co., Ltd., we successfully held the "Construction Machinery Electrification and Green Development Thematic Conference". During the BICES 2027 exhibition, we will continue to hold the "Construction Machinery Electrification and Green Development Thematic Conference", build consensus on the green development of the industry, accurately build an exchange and cooperation platform for upstream and downstream enterprises, and inject strong momentum into the electrification and green development of the construction machinery industry.
Make full use of the trade promotion resource advantages to publicize and promote policies and international rules for enterprises going global. To encourage enterprises to explore international markets, on the one hand, the state has formulated a series of encouraging policies to support enterprises in going global, and on the other hand, our country has signed trade agreements with relevant countries and international organizations to reduce export thresholds and eliminate trade barriers, creating conditions for enterprises to enter the international market. We will use the BICES platform to organize relevant experts to introduce and interpret relevant policies and international trade rules for exhibitors, making the path to the sea smoother for enterprises.
Make full use of the "International Commercial Dispute Prevention and Resolution Center" jointly established with international organizations to provide enterprises with prevention and resolution solutions for international economic and trade disputes.
