On July 23, LiuGong's 8-member equipment repair and rescue team, 4 emergency response machines for post-disaster silt clearance, and 4 operators completed their mission and returned safely. LiuGong Group's Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Trade Union, Lai Songping, along with other company leaders, attended the welcome ceremony.
Affected by the flood disaster, several enterprises in Qin Tang District of Guigang City had their factory areas flooded, with a large number of production equipment submerged and damaged by the floodwaters, leading to a complete halt in production lines. Starting from July 15, LiuGong urgently dispatched two batches of professional technical backbones to form an equipment repair and rescue team to provide support. Additionally, 3 wheel loaders and 1 excavator assisted in the silt clearance, debris removal, and garbage transportation operations in the Xijiang Industrial Park and several educational institutions, making every effort to ensure the orderly resumption of production, work, and schooling in the local area.
During this period, the equipment repair and rescue team worked in two shifts, inspecting and repairing 10 wood processing production lines for 2 affected enterprises, conducting a total of 320 equipment checks, diagnosing and troubleshooting over 180 equipment malfunctions, participating in the repair of 64 pieces of equipment, including 8 high-value robotic automation devices, saving the affected enterprises more than 400,000 yuan in equipment repair costs.
LiuGong's professional and efficient emergency repair services, along with its pragmatic and responsible work style, have been highly recognized by the local government and the affected enterprises. In his speech, Lai Songping pointed out that the flood disaster has affected many places in Guangxi, with severe conditions.
