Sany Group Receives Thank-You Letter for Flood Relief Support in Guangxi

Recently, the Emergency Management Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region sent a letter of thanks to the Sany Foundation, expressing gratitude for Sany's comprehensive rescue and disaster relief efforts with professional personnel and construction machinery, including personnel search and rescue, road clearance, debris removal for epidemic prevention, and material transportation, fully demonstrating the national sentiment of "when one side is in trouble, support comes from all sides."
In early July, Typhoon "Maysak" brought historically rare continuous heavy rainfall to Guangxi, causing severe damage in Nanning, Guigang, Qinzhou, and other places. In this race against the flood, Sany immediately activated the disaster response coordination mechanism, linking with dealers and customers, mobilizing more than 70 pieces of construction machinery, and rushing to the disaster-stricken areas of Guangxi overnight.
Using boats as paddles, heading towards the water, safeguarding life safety
Surrounded by floods, many land routes in the disaster areas were cut off, making water search and rescue the key to opening up a lifeline. From July 7th to 9th, 6 certified rescue team members with a full set of professional water rescue equipment rushed to the severely affected Yunbiao Town in Hengzhou City. The team members shuttled by boat between flooded villages, safely transferring more than 20 trapped people; transported more than 30 pieces of emergency supplies through water; inspected more than 10 potential safety hazards such as landslides and river leakages along rivers and villages. In shallow beaches and village alleys where machinery could hardly reach, they built the first line of defense for people's emergency evacuation with manpower.

At the same time, the Sany Foundation, in coordination with surrounding dealers and customers, organized more than 70 pieces of various construction machinery, including excavators, wheel loaders, and dump trucks, to continue working in Guigang, Hengzhou, and Qinzhou. They accumulated 338 vehicle trips and 2997 hours of work, covering Sanli Town, Huanglian Town, Shijia Town, Gangbei District, Yunbiao Town, Zhenlong Township, and Changtan Town, orderly carrying out disaster relief tasks such as road clearance, debris removal for epidemic prevention, and harmless treatment, benefiting an estimated 115,000 people, providing strong support for flood control, disaster relief, and post-disaster reconstruction in Guangxi.
The disaster response coordination mechanism is a long-term strategic investment for Sany. Sany will continue to improve this mechanism, deepen the synergy with governments at all levels, emergency management departments, and local partners, to make construction machinery play a greater role in disaster relief – making the world fearless in the face of disasters.
