XCMG and China University of Mining and Technology Collaborate on Research and D

On July 31, the first batch of scientific research and project breakthrough competition review work at the Xuzhou College of the National Academy for Engineering Excellence at China University of Mining and Technology (hereinafter referred to as "China University of Mining and Technology Xuzhou College") was successfully held, marking the entry into a substantive stage of collaborative research and development between the university and the enterprise, as well as the cultivation of high-level excellent engineers. XCMG Vice President and Chief Engineer Shan Zenghai participated in the preparatory meeting of the review expert group.
At the preparatory meeting of the review expert group, the attending experts emphasized the discipline, fairness, and confidentiality of the review work. This review closely followed the pain points of industrial upgrading, adhered to fair and scientific review criteria, and was committed to focusing innovative elements on high-quality projects and teams that can tackle challenges, be implemented, and quickly transformed through high-quality selection work.
In June 2026, the Xuzhou College of the National Academy for Engineering Excellence at China University of Mining and Technology was officially inaugurated.
The successful holding of this competition and review work is a vivid practice of deepening the strategic cooperation between the university and the enterprise, and a concrete action for both parties to meet the needs of industrial development and promote the cultivation of high-level excellent engineers.
