On July 28th, a milestone vehicle delivery ceremony took place at the F1 circuit in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Noatum Logistics, part of Abu Dhabi Ports, and Sany Group's UAE heavy truck dealer EGME jointly held the delivery ceremony for the first batch of 110 heavy trucks. This marks the first time Abu Dhabi Ports has made a bulk purchase of heavy trucks from a Chinese brand since its establishment, signifying the official entry of Chinese commercial vehicles into the UAE's national port operation system.
Senior management, including the Chief Operating Officer of Abu Dhabi Ports Group, the Chief Financial Officer of Noatum Logistics, and the General Manager of the Group, attended the ceremony. Sany Group's direct traffic energy industry group, along with various line managers from the UAE country region and the UAE subsidiary, participated in the event. This is also the first time Abu Dhabi Ports Group has purchased electric heavy trucks for operation, becoming the first benchmark for new energy port logistics operations in the UAE.
The event featured track test drives, electric versus diesel truck races, and the introduction of Sany's traffic energy solutions, comprehensively showcasing Sany's technical strength and product advantages in the field of new energy heavy trucks to the port authorities. During this time, both teams conducted in-depth discussions on the adaptability and operational benefits of electric heavy trucks in port logistics scenarios, further solidifying the foundation of cooperative trust.
On the same day, in a friendly and pragmatic atmosphere, both parties reached a new purchase plan for 300 electric heavy trucks, laying a solid foundation for the continuous deepening of strategic cooperation. This delivery is not only a significant breakthrough for Sany Group in the Middle East market but also a benchmark for Chinese new energy heavy trucks in the Middle East market, adding a new example to the cooperation between China and the UAE in the fields of green transportation and new energy.
