On August 11, at the tower crane intelligent factory in Changde, Hunan, Zoomlion grandly held the delivery ceremony for the LW2800A-200NA wind turbine tower crane for a Thai customer. As the second unit of the same model purchased by the customer, this tower crane will be used for the wind power project on the western coast of the Gulf of Thailand. The cooperation between the two parties in the field of wind power lifting has reached a new level, empowering Thailand's green energy construction with hard core strength.
It is understood that Zoomlion's wind turbine tower crane LW2800A-200NA made its overseas debut in the Chaiyaphum wind farm project in Thailand in 2024, and its excellent performance laid a solid foundation for this cooperation. At the delivery ceremony, Huang Jianbing, Vice President of Zoomlion and General Manager of the Construction Crane Division, handed over the "golden key" to the Thai customer representative. The customer highly praised Zoomlion's technology and products, and the two parties will carry out more in-depth cooperation in the field of wind power lifting construction in the future.
The repeat purchase by the Thai customer also fully proves the outstanding strength of Zoomlion's wind turbine tower cranes. The delivered LW2800A-200NA wind turbine tower crane has excellent lifting performance, excellent wind resistance, compact footprint, and lightweight tower body that is easy to transport, highly adaptable to the lifting operations of wind power in mountainous areas of Thailand. Its maximum lifting height is 216 meters, the maximum hook lifting weight is 200 tons, the maximum wind speed allowed for operation is 20 meters per second, and it is adapted to coastal mountain wind power lifting. The leg span is 18 meters by 18 meters, the minimum construction site is 30 meters by 50 meters, and the minimum ground bearing capacity requirement is 0.1 megapascals, allowing construction in complex terrains such as farmland, mountains, and swamps. With integrated design, the entire process of disassembly, transportation, and installation of one tower crane between two machine positions can be completed in just 2.5 days.
