Five overseas vloggers from different countries
walked into TZ Heavy Industry's production workshop
to find the answer with their cameras
This visit to TZ was an important stop of the fifth season of the "Overseas Vloggers See Taiyuan" online international communication campaign, hosted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Taiyuan Municipal Committee and the Taiyuan Municipal Cyberspace Administration. Relying on the unique cross-cultural communication perspective of overseas vloggers, the campaign showcases a three-dimensional and vivid image of modern Taiyuan to the world.
In the TZ Intelligent High-end Equipment Industrial Park, the lights-out production line operates like a silent precision clock—automated robotic arms move with precision, AGV carts shuttle back and forth carrying materials... Steel plates take shape with precision on the smart production line. The vloggers leaned in for a closer look at the freshly produced parts, and the smooth, flat cut surfaces drew a chorus of "Incredible." The "giant" mining trucks on the tour route were naturally the undisputed focus. "This tire feels three meters tall!" "Quick, take a photo with me." The vloggers crowded around—some climbed the ladder, some measured the tire height with their hands—and camera shutters clicked in a flurry.
Stepping into the TZ Intelligent High-end Engineering Crane Industrial Park, high-precision robotic arms rotate flexibly, welding robots draw uniform arcs on workpieces, and every process connects automatically—a busy yet orderly intelligent manufacturing scene that instantly captured the vloggers' lenses. Several of them lingered long at the welding station; some couldn't help imitating the robotic arm's movements, while others pulled staff aside to ask about welding precision and cycle time. Between words was undisguised curiosity and admiration.
Along the way, the vloggers deployed phones and cameras alike, filming equipment, production lines, and details, interacting and asking questions from time to time. Though languages differed, "Amazing" became the high-frequency word; though cultures differed, "hardcore," "smart," and "green" became shared sentiments. As the world comes to know Taiyuan's past through its ancient architecture, TZ is showing the world its present and future through intelligent manufacturing.
From national pillar equipment to precision manufacturing, from the production site to innovation achievements, TZ stays true to its industrial roots, deepens the iterative upgrading of high-end equipment manufacturing, continuously activates new momentum for the city's high-quality development, and delivers a new calling card of Chinese intelligent manufacturing to the world.
