Repost | Over 1,000 bins in/out per hour — Hangcha Guozi Intelligent H-Series
October 27,2026
A group's central warehouse is responsible for parts storage management and supply support. Its three-dimensional storage system is designed with over 10,000 storage locations, including a tote library and a pallet library, enabling standardized storage of approximately 13,000 types of materials.
The tote library adopts Hangcha Guozi's Intelligent H-Series horizontal rotary racking — a multi-level independent horizontal rotary racking that integrates three core functions: sorting, storage, and retrieval. Each level can rotate horizontally on its own, with a maximum running speed of 30 m/min and an AR elevator lifting speed of up to 180 m/min, delivering ultra-high-speed in/out, precise sorting, and intelligent distribution to meet a wide range of flexible application needs.
Within each horizontal rotary racking, materials on every level are handled through automatic in/out devices (AR), enabling precise and efficient storage and retrieval operations that markedly improve overall throughput. The warehouse is equipped with 3 horizontal rotary racks and 1 high-speed tote conveyor line, supported by 8 manual sorting stations and 2 inbound stations, completing over 1,000 bins of in/out operations per hour.

The pallet library adopts Hangcha Guozi's Intelligent Four-Way Shuttle dense-storage solution, offering five core advantages:
Extreme space utilization, flexible and scalable system, high reliability with low maintenance, automated high-efficiency operation, and full-scenario adaptability — achieving 85%–90% storage space utilization and a substantial increase in storage density.
The pallet library uses standardized steel pallets throughout, each with a rated load capacity of 1,000 kg.
The racking is designed with 8 levels and equipped with 16 four-way shuttles, initially deployed at 2 per level. The shuttles move across levels via elevators to meet high-bay storage requirements.
The shuttles travel at 1.5 m/s with positioning accuracy of ±2 mm. Relying on multi-vehicle coordinated scheduling, in/out efficiency is significantly improved.
The inbound end has 2 dedicated entry ports; once materials are palletized, AGVs automatically transport and store them. The outbound end of the high-bay warehouse is connected via elevators to the outbound circulation conveyor line, supporting 3 picking stations operating online simultaneously, with functions such as automatic return of residual materials to storage.

The central warehouse takes end-to-end automation of storage operations as its core objective. By deploying an integrated WMS (Warehouse Management System) and WCS (Warehouse Control System) information platform, it achieves full-dimensional visual management of inventory status, operation progress, location occupancy, and equipment health — avoiding material backlog and expiration caused by a 'first-in-last-out' pattern. Through the organic combination of dense spatial layout, flexible system design, and automated operation, it attains the optimal balance among storage capacity, operational efficiency, and overall cost.
