UN Day | Heavy Machinery Connects Mountains and Seas: LiuGong Practices Its Glob
October 27,2026
Above mountains and seas, roaring machinery builds land-sea corridors that connect the interior and the coast, sowing seeds of mutual benefit and coexistence. On October 24, UN Day, the world's attention once again turns to the shared topic of 'ESG.'
'ESG' — Environmental, Social, and Governance — is the core yardstick for measuring a company's sustainable-development value. Facing the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals, LiuGong, rooted in its global strategy, integrates the ESG philosophy into the full lifecycle of its overseas projects, concretely advancing 14 of those goals through real action and helping the industry build globally competitive sustainable development.
Green Development
Paving the Road to Low-Carbon Infrastructure
Green intelligent manufacturing, rooted locally.
LiuGong's loader smart factory practices the concepts of intensive land use, clean production, and low-carbon energy, and was selected as a 2025 national-level green factory. The excavator smart factory relies on a rooftop photovoltaic array coupled with an energy-storage system for coordinated power supply, and adopts clean processes such as low-emission painting to practice low-carbon production. Reshaping 'productive forces' with 'smart-manufacturing power,' LiuGong has created a model of green intelligent manufacturing for construction machinery, laying a solid green foundation right at the source of manufacturing.
Relying on localized green manufacturing strength to accelerate overseas industrial layout.
The launch and operation of the Xinjiang smart industrial park serves as LiuGong's front-line hub for exporting green equipment to Central Asia, greatly improving market responsiveness and service capability in the region and building an internally-externally linked green 'going-global' pattern.

More than just providing equipment — protecting the ecology of the Silk Road.
At world-class projects such as the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway, the China-Laos Railway, and Georgia's E60 Highway, LiuGong's low-carbon intelligent equipment is deeply involved in construction, enabling major infrastructure builds and ecological protection to advance together and empowering the green, low-carbon transformation and upgrade of global infrastructure.
Talent Cultivation and People's Wellbeing
Cultivating a Humanistic Warmth
Talent cultivation — teach a man to fish.
On overseas job sites, LiuGong's expatriate engineers train local operators in equipment operation and maintenance skills. Through 12 international craftsman academies, LiuGong cultivates local technical talent in countries along the routes such as Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Ghana; in Peru, LiuGong has partnered with local vocational training institutions to build a school-enterprise cooperation platform, opening a practical training pathway for local youth and helping strengthen local reserves of skilled talent.

Charitable goodwill across mountains and seas.
Beyond engineering, public-welfare support continues to land. LiuGong South Africa donated a 150-meter-deep water well to a small village in the Moses Kotane municipality, solving villagers' long-distance water-fetching hardship; at the same time, together with customers, dealers, and public-welfare organizations, it formed a green alliance, investing a portion of the annual electric-loader sales revenue into African public-welfare projects to improve global livelihoods and build a better home together.
