CRCHI's Emergency Equipment Showcased in Tibet Earthquake Relief Exercise

Recently, the "Emergency Mission・2026" Tibet Earthquake Disaster Relief Exercise, co-hosted by the Ministry of Emergency Management and the People's Government of Tibet Autonomous Region, concluded successfully. The exercise was conducted simultaneously in Lhasa, Shannan, and Nyingchi, with high-altitude space stations, large-caliber horizontal rescue drilling rigs, multifunctional drilling machines, and engineering grouting machines independently developed by CRCHI playing a crucial role as medical support units and high-tech equipment in tunnel rescue scenarios throughout the exercise, earning a special thank-you letter from the Tibet Autonomous Region Emergency Management Department for their outstanding performance.

This exercise directly addressed extreme rescue challenges such as high-altitude low pressure and hypoxia, and tunnel collapses, fully simulating the real dangers of a major earthquake, with high-intensity practical subjects such as force assembly, tunnel search and rescue, and high-altitude emergency medical services. Facing the pain points of high-altitude rescue in snowy regions, all self-developed equipment from CRCHI was put into action, showcasing the famous scene of technological rescue.

The highlight of the exercise was the CRCHI high-altitude space station, which is the only modular support facility capable of creating a low-altitude livable environment on site. The high-altitude space station comes with a complete pressurized oxygen supply system, which can stabilize the equivalent altitude inside the cabin to 2400 meters. Whether it is rescue personnel who have been fighting for a long time or injured and affected people, they can enter the cabin to quickly alleviate high-altitude reactions and greatly improve the efficiency of high-altitude injury and disease treatment.

Previously, after the 6.8 magnitude earthquake in Dingri, Tibet, this high-altitude space station oxygen supply cabin rushed to the disaster area to provide a reassuring rest and treatment space for the rescue team and the public, and the product's practical performance withstood a comprehensive test on the scene of a major disaster.

The tunnel rescue exercise site was also full of highlights, with the CRCHI multifunctional drilling machine completing detection and drilling in one go, flexibly traversing complex geology; the large-caliber horizontal rescue drilling rig fully opened up a life-saving passage at full speed, seizing the golden rescue time; the intelligent engineering grouting machine quickly reinforced the collapsed surrounding rocks, firmly blocking the risks of secondary disasters such as landslides and collapses. The entire set of equipment forms an integrated rescue chain of "detection-drilling-reinforcement," making the tunnel collapse rescue problem easy to solve.

From real earthquake disaster support to national-level large-scale practical exercises, CRCHI has always taken high-altitude disaster prevention and reduction as the core direction for research and development. During the preparation stage, the team cooperated fully in the preparation of plans and on-site rehearsals, honing equipment performance for extreme conditions in snowy regions, and using domestically produced high-end equipment to address the shortcomings of high-altitude rescue.
