Sany Heavy-Duty Trucks Returns to GNEV2026 Forum: Defining China's Global Role
August 23,2026
On August 20, the Global New Energy Vehicle Cooperation and Development Forum (GNEV2026) was held in Shanghai. Sany Heavy Duty Trucks, as the only new energy commercial vehicle enterprise to appear on the main forum, had its chairman, Liang Linhe, deliver a keynote speech titled "How a Spark Can Start a Prairie Fire: The Path to High-Quality Overseas Expansion for China's New Energy Heavy Trucks." This marks the second time in four months that Sany Heavy Duty Trucks has taken the stage at the main forum of the Electric Vehicle Hundred Forum.
Liang Linhe pointed out that electrification is rewriting the global heavy-duty truck industry landscape. In terms of core technology, manufacturing costs, and product reliability, China has for the first time taken the leading position in the global heavy-duty truck race. However, the overseas journey of new energy heavy trucks is still in the "spark" phase, and there is still a long way to go to achieve scaled and high-quality global layout.
Faced with this historic window of opportunity, Sany Heavy Duty Trucks proposes four paths to "high-quality overseas expansion":
Liang Linhe emphasized that Chinese manufacturing must adhere to the bottom line of compliance, shoulder the responsibility of quality, and abandon the mindset of low prices and internal competition. Exporting heavy trucks is not a one-time transaction but a long-term commitment to full-cycle service.
△Setting a new record for the export volume of domestic new energy tractors in a single instance
With a foothold in the domestic market, focusing on competitive coexistence to expand the industry landscape; looking globally, with an open and win-win approach to convey the Chinese solution. The sparks of China's new energy heavy trucks will surely ride the wave of the global green transition, and in the global green logistics revolution, they will unleash the power of Chinese intelligence and manufacturing.
