During the event, SDLG's 105t-class mining excavator completed a power upgrade, and the ME105-2 model equipped with the Weichai Baudouin 6M25 engine was officially launched. The two Shandong equipment manufacturing ecosystem partners joined hands again to create a hundred-ton-class mining excavator golden power combination, providing a powerful and reliable domestic equipment solution for open-pit mine stripping and heavy earthwork loading operations.
The SDLG ME105-2 is a hundred-ton-class flagship mining excavator with an operating weight exceeding 100 tons and a standard large-capacity bucket. Designed specifically for open-pit mine heavy-load, continuous high-intensity digging, and loading operations, it places extremely high demands on the power's burst performance, reliability, and durability given the harsh mining environment of heavy dust, large temperature swings, and sustained full-load operation.
The Weichai Baudouin 6M25 engine paired this time is an exclusive power unit built for SDLG and developed specifically for large mining excavators. With an inline six-cylinder large-displacement design, it features prominent low-speed high-torque characteristics-strong power and low fuel consumption. It delivers surging torque even at low rpm, providing ample burst power the moment the bucket lifts.
