Tao Jiajin Meets with Delegation from CRRC Corporation

On October 15, Tao Jiajin, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Group, met with a delegation led by Wang Jian, Board Secretary of CRRC Corporation Limited. The two sides held in-depth exchanges on strengthening interaction and collaboration across the industrial chain.
The guests toured the Taiyuan Heavy Industry Group exhibition center and rail transit industrial park, where they learned about the company's latest product systems and innovation achievements, and experienced the smart-manufacturing strength behind its key supporting equipment empowered by "lighthouse factory" capabilities. As one of the few global bases able to simultaneously produce railway wheels, axles, gearboxes and wheelsets, Taiyuan Heavy Industry's rail transit subsidiary has long provided critical supporting equipment to CRRC. Both parties uphold integrated innovation and joint market expansion — they are not only long-time "old friends" who have empowered each other over years of cooperation, but also "good comrades-in-arms" working together to advance the localization of rail transit equipment.
Both sides agreed that achieving autonomous and controllable rail transit equipment and a secure, stable industrial and supply chain requires upstream and downstream enterprises to join forces and make breakthroughs together. CRRC possesses a world-leading R&D and manufacturing platform for rail transit equipment, and its cooperation with Taiyuan Heavy Industry has a long history, a solid foundation and broad prospects. The two sides need to further leverage their respective strengths, deepen cooperation in technology R&D, component matching, market development and industrial-chain construction within the rail transit field, and work hand in hand to contribute more to the high-quality development of China's railway industry.
