Recently at a jobsite in Brazil, Shantui's HZS180-5L concrete batching plant entered its intensive final commissioning phase, soon to be put into service on a local trunk highway expansion project, continuously supplying high-quality pavement concrete. The project is another important achievement in Shantui's deep cultivation of the Latin American market and its service to Brazil's infrastructure upgrading.
Rapid installation, adapted to hot and humid conditions
To keep the project on schedule, Shantui's HZS180-5L concrete batching plant inherits the ultra-high performance of the highway-version product and has been specially upgraded for Brazil's hot, humid climate. The entire plant adopts a modular containerized packaging structure that supports whole-layer hoisting; its "building-block" style rapid installation greatly shortens the overseas installation cycle and strongly safeguards the customer's construction progress. At the same time, the machine frame has undergone reinforced anti-corrosion treatment, enabling it to comfortably handle Brazil's high-temperature, rainy, humid and corrosive field environment and ensure around-the-clock continuous production.
Precise metering, building a solid quality foundation
In concrete quality control, the plant adopts patented coarse-and-fine weighing technology, achieving independent and precise proportioning of aggregates, cement, fly ash, water, admixtures and other materials. Metering accuracy is improved by 50% over national standards, with higher reliability that effectively avoids proportioning deviations and safeguards the strength and homogeneity of pavement concrete at the source. The mixing system uses a new air-sealed host that eliminates the pollution caused by traditional grease overflow, delivering low failure rates and easy parts replacement and maintenance during long, continuous operations — providing strong support for the project.
