World Standards Day: Zoomlion Forges Its Foundation with Digital-Intelligent Sta
October 16,2026
On October 14, the annual World Standards Day arrived as scheduled. In recent years, Zoomlion has closely followed the core theme of "digital-intelligent standardization and compliant globalization" in its standards building, promoting the resonance of standard development and research innovation. It leads technological innovation, product iteration, and industrial upgrading with high standards, safeguards its overseas footprint through rules alignment, and continuously enhances the voice of Chinese equipment manufacturing in global industries, laying a solid standards foundation for high-quality, sustainable, and globalized development.
Having been deeply engaged in the industry for decades, Zoomlion has always integrated standards building into its full industrial chain of R&D, production, manufacturing, and service. Starting from leading the release of its first national standard, the "Crane Design Code," in 1983, the company has persevered for decades, continuously strengthening its standards system. To date, it has led or participated in the development and revision of more than 620 national, industry, and association standards, including nearly 70 standards in frontier directions such as product intelligence, digitalization, electrification, and greenization; it has led or co-authored nearly 50 international standards, with 5 officially released, covering key technical fields such as equipment remote communication, safety, and design.
Zoomlion has also built a digital enterprise standards management platform, an export product compliance information query platform, and a technical trade barrier early-warning platform, achieving deep synergy of one-stop control across the full standardization process, dynamic and precise identification of global regulations and standards, and front-end early warning of overseas technical trade risks. This drives the standards system's comprehensive upgrade from "post-hoc summarization" in traditional R&D stages to "front-end leadership" across the product's full life cycle, supporting global compliance and rapid market launch of products. In the first half of 2026, the company completed more than 900 product development projects and launched nearly 200 new products, developing benchmark products such as the world's tallest and largest wind-power luffing tower crane LW3600-240NB, the world's largest 36-tonne hybrid loader, the world's first hybrid grain combine harvester, and the industry's first 10F hydrogen-energy mixer truck.

At the same time, Zoomlion is accelerating the cultivation of emerging businesses, actively incubating future industries, and speeding up the industrial implementation of embodied intelligent robots. A series of research achievements provides real working conditions, data interfaces, and application scenarios for digital-intelligent standardization, driving requirements such as intelligence, electrification, and carbon footprint into the source of R&D, forming a first-mover advantage of sustained leadership.
Today, standards have become a high-level form of global industrial competition. Looking ahead, Zoomlion will continue to run "digital-intelligent standardization" through the full chain of R&D, manufacturing, and service; it will improve its enterprise standards system covering global regulations and standards, let "compliant globalization" escort its products, technologies, and brands going global, continuously enhance the voice of Chinese equipment manufacturing in global industry rules, and contribute Zoomlion's solutions to the high-quality and sustainable development of the global high-end equipment manufacturing industry.
