Two Sunward Emergency Rescue Equipments Named Among 2026 Typical Cases for Safet
October 22,2026
Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and six other departments officially announced the 2026 list of typical application cases for safety emergency equipment. Two emergency rescue equipment products independently developed by Sunward — the intelligent remote-control excavator and the amphibious excavator — were successfully selected.

As core equipment representatives in China's emergency rescue field, both products are built on Sunward's deep engineering equipment expertise and have been tested in multiple major disaster rescue operations. The intelligent remote-control excavator is one of the core models of Sunward's unmanned emergency rescue equipment system, which covers three categories — remote-control excavators, remote-control bulldozers and remote-control loaders — enabling fully unmanned emergency operations. The equipment supports precise long-distance control and can replace workers in high-risk scenarios where personnel cannot approach, such as building collapses, landslides and dam breaches, to perform demolition, obstacle clearance and earthwork transfer, eliminating rescue personnel safety risks at the source and greatly improving rescue efficiency.

The amphibious excavator is built for extreme conditions where conventional equipment cannot pass, such as water areas and muddy terrain. It uses a dedicated pontoon-type chassis with a water propulsion system, and can travel and operate stably in deep water, mud and shoals without auxiliary equipment, efficiently completing tasks such as breach sealing, river dredging, and flood victim and material transfer, thoroughly breaking through the terrain limits of traditional land rescue equipment.

The two products have been deployed in multiple major rescue missions, including the rock collapse in Pengshui County, Chongqing, the major landslide in Shanghang, Fujian, and the dam breach in Tumed Right Banner, Inner Mongolia. They have now been batch-equipped to national professional rescue forces such as China Aneng Group. This selection is the state-level authoritative recognition of the two products' technical strength and practical value, and will further promote their application and popularization in the national emergency rescue field.
Sunward will take this as an important development opportunity, continue to deepen the special emergency equipment track, accelerate the iterative upgrade and scenario expansion of unmanned, all-terrain and intelligent emergency equipment, constantly improve the emergency rescue equipment product system covering multiple disaster types and full scenarios, help upgrade the national emergency rescue equipment capability, and continue to contribute hard-core equipment strength to building the national disaster prevention and mitigation safety barrier and advancing the modernization of the emergency governance system and capacity.
