Weichai Showcases at the 2026 World Marine Equipment Conference

From October 16 to 19, the 2026 World Marine Equipment Conference was held in Fuzhou, Fujian, under the theme Green and Smart Coexistence, Chaining the Blue Ocean. Weichai brought together its full range of boat engines, ocean-going marine generator sets, silent units and new-energy batteries, providing customers with green, intelligent integrated power solutions and demonstrating the hard-core strength of Chinese power reaching for the seas and the deep blue.

Responding to the shipping industry's urgent need for energy savings and carbon reduction, Weichai has built a traditional energy plus clean energy plus new energy marine power solution. At this exhibition, Weichai showcased the M+WH series diesel engines, methanol engines, marine battery packs and boat silent units, covering high-end yachts, official boats, inland cargo ships and ocean-going vessels.
The 16M23 diesel engine offers high power density, low vibration and noise, and quick acceleration response, balancing powerful output with quiet, comfortable riding. The 12M33 emergency unit is highly reliable with excellent fuel economy, adapts to complex ocean conditions, and has been batch-matched to large container ships.
For long-term zero-carbon development, Weichai is simultaneously laying out clean-energy and new-energy marine technology routes, developing pure-electric and hybrid marine power systems and advancing the industrial application of battery packs and hydrogen fuel-cell power. The WHM6230 micro-pilot methanol engine uses dual turbocharging, in-cylinder direct injection and methanol multi-point injection to ensure higher reliability, lower fuel consumption and greater environmental friendliness. Weichai's new-energy marine power propulsion system supports lithium batteries, methanol or diesel generator sets and photovoltaics, with long endurance, high reliability and customizability.
Digital intelligence empowers, reaching for the seas and strengthening, safeguarding the full lifecycle of marine power. Beyond green transformation, Weichai is further accelerating intelligent transformation, systematically advancing the digital reconstruction of R&D, manufacturing and service across the chain. Through a cloud-vessel-APP trinity intelligent marine support platform, Weichai provides engine health management and remote power operations, empowering the full-lifecycle value of marine equipment.
