XCMG Invited to the 2026 Physical AI and World Model Conference

On October 20, the 2026 Physical AI and World Model Conference opened in Nanjing under the theme Modeling the Physical World, Intelligently Enabling a Better Future. Governor Liu Xiaotao attended and delivered a speech, joined by Xia Bing, deputy director of the National Data Administration, Tan Tieniu, chairman of the World Data Organization, and Dai Qionghai, chairman of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence; XCMG was invited to attend.
This is China's first high-level comprehensive industry conference focused on physical AI and world models, gathering Turing Award laureates, members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Engineering, and industry leaders across nine parallel sessions covering healthcare, world models, autonomous driving and embodied intelligence. Shan Zhenghai, vice president and chief engineer of XCMG, Fu Simin, director of XCMG's Global Digitalization Center, and Wang Yongfei, general manager of XCMG Hanyun, participated. Liu Xiaotao said Jiangsu will expand scenario applications, gather innovative talent, solidify computing foundations, optimize the industry ecosystem and foster a favorable environment, building all-around, full-chain, full-factor support for the academic research, technology breakthroughs, scenario validation and industrial cultivation of physical AI and world models.
At the conference, a batch of major projects were signed, with XCMG deeply integrating into the co-building of the industry ecosystem. XCMG Research Institute signed the Construction Machinery AI Large Model Embodied Intelligence Platform R&D Project, and XCMG Hanyun joined the launch ceremony of the Physical AI and World Model industry alliance.
From core technology R&D to industry alliance co-building, as a Chinese enterprise ranked third in the global construction machinery industry, XCMG is committed to advancing physical AI from enterprise-level exploration to industry-level collaboration, working with the industry to build an open, win-win innovation ecosystem.
