Content Validity:On September 28, the China Construction Machinery Association convened a review meeting in Beijing for three key group standards. The standards cover hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders, and crawler bulldozers — three core earth-moving machines. Entrusted by the China Machinery Industry Federation, the meeting brought together 21 experts and representatives from manufacturers and testing bodies. Qiang Yi and Li Jianyou were appointed to lead the review panel as chair and vice-chair. The drafting group presented the revision background, scope, and key technical elements of each standard. After thorough discussion, the experts unanimously approved all three standards. Next, the drafting group will refine the texts and submit them for formal approval. These standards provide a unified, scientific basis for quality grading of major construction machinery products. They will guide manufacturers toward stronger innovation and support government procurement, user selection, and third-party certification.
