Content Validity:In Hunan, a new port behemoth is awakening. On December 24th, the Phase I of Yu Gong Port officially commenced operations, heralding a new era of high-quality development for Hunan's port and shipping industry. Governor Mao Weiming personally announced the opening and delved into the port's operations. Yu Gong Port is not just a crucial part of Hunan's port system; it's a vivid embodiment of the 'one hub, multiple focal points, extensive extension' strategy. Our aim is to create an integrated multimodal transport system combining rail, road, and water, reducing logistics costs and polishing the brand of Chenglingji Port. The Phase I project introduces four berths with an annual throughput capacity of 9.9 million tons, allowing year-round navigation for 5,000-ton cargo ships, extending the Yangtze River waterway nearly 100 kilometers inland, providing new momentum for Hunan to integrate into the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Belt and Road Initiative. The full set of port machinery provided by Sany Heavy Industry will greatly assist Hunan in leveraging the golden waterway of the Yangtze River, supporting the development of a billion-dollar port industry cluster and ushering in a new era of river-to-sea connectivity.
