Content Validity:SEM, Caterpillar’s value brand, has just rolled out its new G series motor graders in China. The lineup includes four machines: the 919G, 920G, 922G, and the all-new 922G AWD. All of them meet China Stage IV emissions standards. Under the hood, the G series features a newly developed electronically controlled powershift transmission. Its ECU connects directly to the dashboard. A new worm gearbox increases torque for smoother, more stable grading. Safety is improved with standard hydraulic brakes and disc parking brakes. Maintenance is easier too. Fuel and urea fills are at ground level. For tougher jobsites, the 922G AWD brings a 240-horsepower-class engine for extra traction and versatility. Whether it’s roadbuilding, site leveling, or mining haul-road maintenance, the G series is built to deliver more value on the job.
